Math typesetting

Write LaTeX-style math inline or as block equations. KaTeX renders it to HTML on the server.

  • Inline math and block equations run through remark-math and rehype-katex, in the same pipeline that renders the rest of the page.
  • KaTeX renders on the server, so the browser parses no math and the page does not shift once the equations appear.
  • Single dollar signs mark inline math. Double dollar signs mark a centered block equation.

Our documentation site is built with OwnDocs, running the same code you receive.
