Versioning

Keep older documentation versions online under their own URL prefix, while the current release stays at the top level.

  • Each archived version is served under its own prefix in the URL, and the current release keeps the plain path.
  • A version picker appears in the sidebar as soon as a second version exists, and stays hidden until then.
  • Navigation, breadcrumbs, and the search index are rebuilt per version, so a reader on an archived version stays inside it.
